The DITALS Research and Services Center has been carrying out research and study activities since 2005 for the design, elaboration, production and administration of the Certification of Competence in Didactics of Italian to Foreigners, a cultural title issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena, a specialist in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners. It is, therefore, a certification intended for those who intend to teach Italian as a foreign language and, as such, is recognized by the institutions that work in this field, both in Italy and abroad.

In 2009, our school, after obtaining recognition of the DITALS title from YOK, became the official headquarters in Turkey for this certification.

The activities carried out by our school are:

• Training courses to prepare teachers for the DITALS exam
• Administration of DITALS exams
